It is not a “traditional” red light district, but due to the fact that it has many beautiful girls (“normal” girls and freelance/semi-pro prostitutes) it is one of the best places for you to be as a foreigner. Some of the places there are Conejitas, Maracaibo, Barra Ejecutiva (all 3 have striptease shows) or the cheap massage parlor New Life. The most famous strip clubs, naughty spas and sex centers in Medellin are located in the Northern part of the city. Their white-collared clients, on the other hand, go far south to El Poblado, the wealthy, tree-lined neighborhood full of shopping malls, fashionable bars and fashionable restaurants. The most popular nightlife area in Medellin for foreigners is a place called Parque Lleras. When the girls are done working, they walk home to the Zona Rosa (Red Light District) or go up into the mountains, to the brick-red tsunami of slums that surrounds the city. Medellin is inexpensive, has nice scenery, with a relaxed vibe. But let me tell you this right now, they aren’t easy. The great thing about Medellin is that there are beautiful Colombian girls all over the place, and they are open to hooking up with foreigners. There are plenty of girls in the nightlife and red light areas in Medellin. In particular, the highest concentration can be found in the red-light area of La Candelaria/Villa Nueva (also called El Centro).
