As a good start for 2020, we have the pleasure of informing you that Dr Harold Raugh, from the British Commission, decided to resume his initiative for the follow-up of the Upcoming Military History Congresses. These included the "Job Workshop for Historians," a "Media Training Workshop for Historians, and panels such as "The Promise of History Internships" and "Digital Publishing Initiatives: Training Humanities Scholars." The American Historical Association's annual conference was a truly eye-opening experience for me. All of us at the Organization of American Historians are deeply saddened and angered by these deaths, and recognize the structural and systemic racism and antiblackness that continue to threaten specific members of our community and our entire social fabric.
