... At the invitation of Archbishop Angaelos, one of our ecumenical canons, a number of our congregation visited St George’s Coptic Cathedral on the first Saturday in Lent. St George's Cathedral has a well-established musical tradition, with a diversity of styles represented at the different Masses, ranging from congregational hymns and Mass settings at the 10am Family Mass sung by the Cathedral Consort youth choir, through plainsong and polyphony at the 11.30am Solemn Mass sung by the Cathedral Choir.
