The Mr.
... Aside from it's ending, and a car chase involving a tractor, everything, including it's tone, is so mediocre here. ... Actually, it might help explain the ending if Alexander’s aggressiveness could be attributed to shame over his own latent homosexuality, and Achilles, as an “out and proud” jock, would have finally gotten through to him for the touching dénouement. Mr. It is post-World War III. Robot Jox is a 1990 American post-apocalyptic science-fiction film directed by Stuart Gordon and starring Gary Graham, Anne-Marie Johnson and Paul Koslo.Co-written by science-fiction author Joe Haldeman, the film's plot follows Achilles, one of the "robot jox" who pilot giant machines that fight international battles to settle territorial disputes in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic world. The future looks pretty bleak & ugly. We lost a great filmmaker in Stuart Gordon last week.

But it seems to me that even on its own merits, Robot Jox is lovably dopey and its flippant, cartoon tone is an asset in terms of enjoying it, even as it's probably the biggest reason that the film bombs so hard at creating a legitimate reality. The music was performed by the Paris Philharmonic Orchestra and is a high-energy, fully orchestral, sci-fi action romp, built around a terrific heroic main theme.
Robots in space 2. Robot chainsaw penises 4. 50 years after a nuclear war, the two superpowers handle territorial disputes in a different way. Technically, the machines in Robot Jox are not really robots as much as they are anthropomorphic vehicles. Awfully Good: Robot Jox. $19.99 + $4.99 shipping .
Robot series finale features a stunning, emotional twist that recontextualizes the entire series. FIGHTING!
